1. What is slip and slide?

The Mammoth Slip and Slide boasts two lanes of excitement spanning an impressive 410 feet. The idea is to launch yourself from the top and slip and slide to the bottom. Endless fun with friends and family, regardless of the weather!

2. Where is it?

Our Water Slide is located at Greendale Farm Shop, Exeter, Devon EX5 2JU. A farm hosting a range of animals for children to see, a café, fish and chips as well as a range of local produce. Drive through the main car park and follow signs for the Mammoth Slip and Slide.

3. Where do I park?

There is free parking available at pour water slide. The most convenient place to park is the top car park and walk down following the signs. We do have limited parking next to our hut, if you require closer access please contact us prior to booking and we can reserve you a space.

4. How much does it cost?

The cost is only £13.50 per person for 60 minutes. Children aged 4 and under can slide for free. Carers can also come for free, we just ask you show us proof of DLA / Carers ID on arrival.

5. How long is the session?

Our sessions are 60 minutes. Last slides are called 10 minutes before the end of your session to ensure an efficient turnaround for the next group. If you would like to extend your session or slide for longer, you can always book the sessions afterwards. We will just issue you with new wrist bands.

6. Do I need to book?

We recommend booking your water slide tickets online, especially during busy periods such as bank holidays and the school holidays to avoid disappointment. However, if you are passing or have a last minute change of plan, we will always try to accommodate you where possible.

8. Want to book for a private session?

Our Mammoth Slip and Slide is great for private functions and parties. We do keep slots back for private bookings. We require a minimum of 30 participants, or the value of to be paid in advance (£405). Additional sliders can be added for £10pp. Please ask availability for weekday and weekend slots.

9. When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving 20 minutes prior to your water slide session starting. Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds if you arrive late, however you are of course welcome to slide for the remainder of your time.  

10. How old do you need to be?

Our minimum age is 2 years. All children aged 4 or younger must slide with an adult.
Children must always be accompanied by an adult unless they can climb over the inflatable safety barriers, swim confidently, and demonstrate water competency. Please ensure continuous supervision of children at all times. You are never too old to slide!

11. Existing medical concerns?

For your well-being, if you are pregnant or have pre-existing back or neck conditions, we kindly request that you refrain from participating. We urge all potential sliders to consider their health conditions seriously and seek professional medical guidance if necessary. Before embarking on the exhilarating sliding experience, all participants will be required to sign a disclaimer.

12. What to wear?

Feel free to dress as you please, keeping in mind the weather conditions. While attire is flexible, we recommend considering a wetsuit on our water slide for ultimate comfort. No footwear allowed on the slide.

13. Do I need a wetsuit?

It is not mandatory to wear a wetsuit, but we ask that you at least wear a rash vest or T shirt over your swim wear.

14. Can I take photos?

While you're on site, feel free to capture memories with your camera on the slide. However, it's important to note that we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your equipment. Additionally, we kindly ask that you respect the privacy of others during your visit.

15. Can I bring a dog?

Dogs are welcome, but must stay on a lead and please keep them off the water slide.

16. Can I bring friends a family?

Feel free to invite your family and friends to join in the fun! There's ample space for everyone to relax and enjoy watching the excitement as sliders glide by.

17. Drinking alcohol?

No alcohol is permitted on site. If we deem anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs, you will be asked to leave the premises and miss out on all the fun. No refunds will be available.

19. Food and beverages?

Greendale Farm Shop has a great selection of food, drink and cafes. There is even fish and chips! Spectators are welcome to bring food and drink over to our designated area, please just use the bins provided.

20. RefuND & Cancellations policy

Refund Policy: Cancellations made with at least 7 days' notice will receive a full refund.No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the booking.

Transfer Policy: Bookings can be transferred to another date if at least 72 hours' notice is given. Transfers within 72 hours will not be accepted.

Weather-Related Cancellations: If the session is cancelled by Mammoth Slip and Slide due to severe weather conditions, guests will be offered the choice of a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule.

No-Show Policy: No refunds or transfers will be provided for no-shows or late arrivals.For further inquiries, please contact us at info@mammothslipandslide.co.uk.
